About Me

I love to understand people, cultures, and the big ideas that express or shape social life.
My fiancée and I are traveling Europe for the first time! Trying to cut costs and do it as cheap as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best kinds of people are the ones who have traveled themselves and now want to give back - and we want to meet the best kinds of people!

Interests

Exploring, visiting the graves of authors I study, museums, local digs, good food, lots of coffee, posting up for 6-8 hour writing and research sessions, and basically a good balance between time to myself and time with others.

My fiancée (who is traveling with me!) likes to cook for the whole household wherever we stay as a way of giving back and sharing her love for food. Also she is: Vegan, loves dogs, learning about the history and culture of cities, museums, and walking/hiking!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on a service-learning trip to Corozal, Belize, where I taught English literacy and slacklining to the children at Chan Chen primary school.

See the (SAPPY) video I made from this trip for an Honors College video competition. Please forgive the white saviorism lol.
