I am a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. I absolutely love my city (Dallas), but traveling also holds a dear place in my heart. I love everything adventure, athletic, and exploration-related... whether that's rock climbing, hiking, yoga, or meandering around town looking for the best coffee shop or coolest knick-knacks, I am all about it. I love getting to know the locals and the real gems everywhere I go, that is why staying with fellow couch surfers would be such a spectacular experience! I really appreciate culture- especially film, music, and books. My music tastes range from Johnny Cash to The Smiths to The Impressions to Imagine Dragons to Childish Gambino, and my film preferences are no less diverse. My favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut, Gillian Flynn, Megan Miranda, and John Green. If you make me macaroni and cheese, we will be friends for life. As far as life mottos, I have to quote the brilliant Chuck Palahniuk: "It is only once we have lost everything that we are free to do anything." Everything is temporary, especially in this life we are dancing through. And it is because of this that we must have full and bursting gratitude for what we experience in each place we go.
