How about we talk about that with a good drink and some nice food? Tough to summarize yourself.. I enjoy radio, languages, things out of the ordinary and people with stories (basically everyone). And when I have to get charged up after a period of work, I go hitchhiking. Absolutely love it!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done a fair bit of surfing, but hardly any hosting yet. Would like to change that. I live in a comfy house very close to the city center and to Utrecht central station. I have both a big couch and a separate bedroom (and a hammock in the garden for the adventurous type) so space enough for at least two surfers.

Interessen

I enjoy talking to people, especially if I don't know them yet. I work for the radio, make documentaries without images and work for a daily talk show, during which I sometimes pretend I know what's going on in the world. Besides making radio stories, I love listening to podcasts and sharing podcast tips with others, watching good films, doing long hikes, singing in the shower or anywhere really, having long meandering intimate conversations and listening to any kind of music, as long as it's played with passion.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Camping next to the Santa Teresa hotspring near Machu Picchu. Way more impressive than the latter, especially since the river washed away all civilization a few months earlier and left nothing but a hole in the ground. Loved it!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I like learning new languages and teaching people the basics of the ones I already speak. The basics, as in: the rude stuff :-)

I'm a sound person, and photography is a mystery to me. I would like to unravel it a little bit. Want to help me?

Oh I've also got some cracking letter counting skills, I've learned how to make American style pancakes and if you say something interesting, there's a good chance I'll make your repeat it in my microphone. (Not really true haha)
