ABOUT ME

Hey there! I am Maria Claudia, Claudia, Maria or however you wanna call me depending on your spanish pronunciation skills or your willingness to call me by such a long name. Ok, I am MC. I'm currently 22 years old, will turn 23 soon, and sometimes I'm 10 ***Update: I'm 27 now, shit...time goes by so fast***. I am from Peru, southamerican country with the best food and pisco world-wide! I can barely fry an egg though, but please...just trust me.

I love my country, I love its sites, and I love its multicultural diversity as much as I love its food... but I also love traveling, getting out of the routine, and experiencing totally different things with totally different people...

Mmm, what else...Oh yes, I just can't live without music! I have the need of continuosly keeping a soundtrack backing up my daily walking/whatever activities. I also love grabbing the mic on karaoke bars and singing to the crowd as much as I love grabbing the comb in home-made youtube karaokes and singing to the mirror...and I'll probably annoy you with my "singing in the shower routine" because I think it sounds beautiful in ispite of my neighboors' oppinions.

I keep a diary, it helps me on the never-ending process of self-discovery, and I tend to find myself raising questions even worse than the "half empty/full glass" one. I also like Discovery Channel.

Well, I can't help running out of ideas in such a limited space to describe the fabulous life of Maria Claudia Lira...and this life has so many shades that it is difficult to list them all here without seeming a bit twisted. I'll skip this and save the rest of information for the next sections...next step is the actual information received on a face-to-face basis :)

P.S:
1. I don't speak french..my basic level can be summarized in "bonjour", "au revoir", "suce ma crotte" and other greeting phrases. I would love to do it though, but this clarification is due to some requests I've received in that language, which I can read yea...but if you expect to have a fun/philosophical/miscellaneous conversation, I'm afraid it will be pretty frustrating, je suis désolé

2. I made this description while procrastinating in my bed, extremely tired and in poor brain conditions. I apologize for the lack of information in next sections, but I promise I will fill them up once inspiration hits me again

Paragliding over Miraflores and watching all the sea underneath my feet
Hiking a little mountain with my friends in switzerland, dodging bees, wild cows and randomly ending up joining a barbeque at a beautiful cabin on the top. best last week
Going to Venece with a brasilian friend from Switzerland by train - car pooling - jumping off in the wrong station and finally meeting with our hosts, ready to party with our backpacking look. first couchsurfing experience
Shamelessly singing every single night out in Thailand (thank you, live bands, for making me feel as a rockstar among friends and a bunch of drunk people)
