About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To avoid 'real' employment until absolutely necessary

ABOUT ME

Planning isn't my forte, which means I have no idea what my current future holds. But with an interesting tune and a beverage I'll be happy for the time being.
I seem to laugh quite a bit, at things that are sometimes not even seemingly funny, but meeting new people who bring this out in me is fun.
Travelling is something that I never really considered, but recent experiences have led me to wonder what it is all about, so it's worth a go.

PHILOSOPHY

What you consider mostly about yourself is what some people might never see in you at all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed in Spain, Canada, USA and the UK - restores my faith that there are an untold amount of warm and open people in the world.

My house in Canada hosted many times - ditto with the above.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There isn't really any better way of immersing yourself with people from all over the world and experiencing where they live through their eyes.

Interests

Music music music......my absolute staple. There is so much to listen to in such a short space of time, so if you can put me onto something new and fresh, then you're going to be a winner.
Also......walks, running, licquorice, the sea and a sup of whiskey. Preferably in that order.

Music, Movies, and Books

- The Beatles, SikTh, Hendrix, Rolo Tomassi, Zappa, Django, Stravinsky and Gershwin.

-Paul Newman and Robert Redford films, and most definitely the soundtracks that accompany them (god bless you Burt Bacharach).

-I'm not a literary buff by any stretch of the imagination.....I do enjoy John Steinbeck though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lake Moraine in the piercing sunshine, with glistening mountains and the bluest water known to man. My mind hasn't been able to compute properly after that.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, United Kingdom
