About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Riding my bike mid-day past the three piece suits (yeah, I'm referencing RENT)
ABOUT ME
I was born in Halifax, NS, grew up in small towns in Alberta and Saskatchewan, ran away to Victoria, BC for a while, worked in Calgary for a year, travelled, moved to Montreal, then did a six month exchange and moved to Bolivia and Ontario and am now back in Calgary for a little while (to save money!! I HOPE). a My biggest loves are people, nature, music, and food! I find other people and their backgrounds fascinating. Food and cooking (like most people) is a big thing for me as well:)
PHILOSOPHY
Live in a way that is positive for my fellow human beings and the planet. I want to live my life in a way where I am challenged, where I am actively engaged in the communities I am part of, and where I can enjoy life in the present but work towards something greater.
I want to be continuously growing, learning, and developing, meeting new people, confronting new ideas, and of course, seeing the world!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: If I had to list my favorite films: Life is Beautiful, Lost in Translation, zoolander, Barton Fink...oh and in honour of my sister, the Rocky Horror Picture Show (live version, of course)!Books: I've read this book of Ghandi's writings about 290390928 times. Other favorites include Perks of Being a Wallflower, A Caged Bird Never Sings, The Birth House, hm, what other ones? Of course, I've read and thoroughly enjoyed books like Eat. Pray. Love, On the Road, etc. You know, cliche books that everyone reads...ummm im in a book club...Music: ska, cdn music, alternative, some techno, a little punk, reggae, dub, folk, stupid dance pop music, some arabic kind of pop at times, and I now have a love-hate for south american "raggaeton" and pit bull (don't judge). etc.
