About Me

ABOUT ME

I'll be moving out of my flat at the end of this month so my hosting of couchsurfers is on hold until further notice. Cheers!

I just graduated from uni at the end of last year and am drifting a bit to work out what I want to do with myself. I'm going on a 3-month trip through self east Asia in a few weeks and want to do more travelling next year after saving some money. I'm pretty energetic, optimistic and enthusiastic. I never really sit still and have always got things to do, people to see.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm on a bit of a mission to do as much as I can and take opportunities when they appear and not let fear and uncertainty hold me back. Also be happy and make others happy

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

I juggle, like gaming (Diablo II, Civ II and IV...), Ultimate Frisbee, socialising/ talking,

  • working out
  • traveling
  • juggling

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of B-grade movies - Mr and Mrs Smith, Indiana Jones, The Mummy. Also Princess Bride. Big fan of the TV series Firefly (and its movie, Serenity). I like fantasy books mostly, also historical novels. I got totally hooked on the Bronze Horseman and am liking Interview with a Vampire a lot. I like most music, Big Band, pop, rock (especially Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Ok Go, Anna Nalick)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I saw an article saying a forum moderator basically saved a guy's life. The guy had posted saying he was thinking of killing himself, the moderator found a police contact in NZ (from the US) and let them know and they tracked the guy down and got him help. How amazing is that?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach juggling, I majored in psyc so can share some of that knowledge.
