About Me
Hello, thanks for taking a minute to read my profile. I am the son of immigrants who came from Haiti and being a first generation American, I have come to appreciate my journey and have embraced all that it entails.
I have 5 siblings, and I am also a twin with a girl. I've spent a lot of time during my early life cultivating very unique skills and such as orchestral conducting, playing several instruments at a professional level, engineering (software and mechanical), languages, design...just to name a few.
I enjoy the company of those who are compassionate towards others, kind hearted, appreciate great conversation, and who are respectful of intelligent opinions that they may disagree with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is a no-brainer that interacting with locals anywhere is far more profitable to the soul than the comforts of a hotel room. I enjoy learning about people's journey, history, and culture. Couchsurfing is a vehicle for rich personal experiences and I will always search here before I resort to a hotel.
Interests
I am a self-teacher, so the challenge of learning new skills constantly is one that greatly interests me. I do not consume for entertainment. I consume to be moved, to understand, to grow.

Music, Movies, and Books
As a professionally trained classical musician, I believe I am jaded! Particularly, I find great power in the symphonic medium. I read books for learning new skills, so I'm most likely to be caught with a practical guide book over anything else.
I did not grow up watching television, but I now use movies and shows as learning tools - which has the added benefit of learning to appreciate great minds of film, while also taking away ideas that I can apply to arsenal of tools.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have taught myself how to learn anything in 20 hours.
Teach, Learn, Share
