COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm totally new to this. I have never surfed nor hosted. I'm super interested in both. I have had friends and friends-of-friends CouchSurf. They always have positive things to say about their experiences.

Interests

I love dancing, music, singing (not well), laughing, running, exercise, snowboarding, hiking, playing, eating, drinking, being merry, love, did I say dance? I'm an all-seasons kind of gal. I love animals. Supporting local businesses, musicians, artists, local eating and health.

The movie Beginners by Mike Mills. So good. I love music of all types old and new. Beatles. Erykah Badu. Wild Beasts. Beirut. Antony and the Johnsons. Sleigh Bells. Old Crow Medicine Show. Lucero. The Shoes. Quadron. Tom Waits. Anything Jack White does. Led Zeppelin. Daru Jones. Bettye LaVette. Galactic. Digable Planets. Motopony. The Head and the Heart. Blue Scholars. etcetcetc... I've started my record collection. I love supporting my musician friends and the music in my community. I haven't read a book in quite a while, as I am a "drop&go" kind of gal. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing dance performances I saw was by Tanja Liedtke in my city, Seattle. Samish Sunset in Washington State. La Tomatina. Road trip from Barcelona to San Sebastián & back with an amazing hilarious random group of people from all over that I met at the hostel in Barca. I have yet to see A LOT of places and things.

Teach, Learn, Share

Artists (see above). I dance, I teach dance, I perform dance, I watch dance. I love to be an audience as well as a performer, not only of dance but all through life. I will always share my creativity and ideas with people and I'm always looking for more inspiration from others. I'm interested in learning new languages and getting new experiences. I'm always curious. I'll teach you how to handstand!
