Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During my studies I already opened up our flat to other students during International Student Week in Ilmenau, so I understand the Project's philosophy. Im planning on hosting my own share of couchsurfers when I am back in Munich.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since the end of my studies in 2009 my fellow students moved all across the country an even further away. We try to visit each other as often as possible. So I'm quite familiar with sleeping on others people couches and floors.

Interests

For me, couch surfing isn't about beeing a cheapskate, it's about having an unique experience and meeting new people. I don't want to be a typical tourist, I want to explore cities from a residents point of view.
