Easy going, enjoy the outdoors. We like to meet new people and enjoy learning about different cultures. Ray loves Sports, Shelly enjoys sewing and paper crafting. Ray is a software engineer and Shelly is a nurse. We love to laugh and have a beer with friends. We enjoy learning about history.

Ray loves to participate in sports and loves the great outdoors. Shelly likes to to chat, she is a blogger (paper crafting blog called My Creative Rumblings). We live close to many malls (Fox Valley, Yorktown, Oakbrook, Woodfield, Stratford ) all within 30 minuted from home. We are close to a couple of forest preserves and the Morton Arboretum. There is a train in Wheaton, Ill. that will get to downtown Chicago in 40- 60 minutes (depends on if you catch the express train).

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

We climbed the Great wall of China in 5/2012 in Badaling from start to finish and went back in 2013 to Mutianyi with a couchsurfer- Jinn- awesome! We also visited Shanghai and Hangzhou in 2012 . In 2013 we also visited Yangshuo, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. We have a daughter that is teaching in China.
We enjoyed visiting Manhattan, New York City and we also enjoy being in a country setting like Glacier National Park and Niagara Falls.
In 2014, Shelly went to Cambodia and Thailand. The visit to the Floating Village was just like something out of a National Geographic magazine......
