ABOUT ME

After years of roaming the country/globe for jobs, travel, and education, I have finally "settled" back in DC. Currently, I work as a pre-Kindergarten teacher - one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. It has taught me to be patient, kind, observant and intentional. My traveling life has taken a bit of a backseat these days but I'm happy to be back involved in the Couchsurfing community and will soon be in a position to host and give back to the amazing community that supported me in my previous journeys.
Life is a labyrinthe and I'm just trying to make my way! I wish I could play the accordian.

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind - to yourself and to others. If you read Max Ehrmann's "Desiderata," well, that pretty much sums it up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some surfing experience. I spent some time in Bali with a lot of other couchsurfers and even spent a few nights sleeping in the lobby of a great guest house called Kubu Merta. I've surfed in India as well.
