About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to have a few adventures and meet some amazing people - while building my career - I'm also going to learn as many languages as I can
ABOUT ME
I love travelling and languages and teaching and meeting people . I've just moved home to Australia after 4.5 years of living abroad and I miss the traveller's life already.
PHILOSOPHY
today is a gift being offered as if on a plate and if we don't eat and taste it today it will not be the same tomorrow. Enjoy it while we have it. We have everything we need to be happy in this moment. This means we have to be resourceful and content and cheerful and make the most of our lives... BE... openhearted, curious and fully concious at any given time - life is too short not to at least TRY to be awake for it.
Bill Bryson
âBut that's the glory of foreign travel, as far as I am concerned. I don't want to know what people are talking about. I can't think of anything that excites a greater sense of childlike wonder than to be in a country where you are ignorant of almost everything. Suddenly you are five years old again. You can't read anything, you have only the most rudimentary sense of how things work, you can't even reliably cross a street without endangering your life. Your whole existence becomes a series of interesting guesses.â

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love meeting new people and I am friends with quite a few couch surfers around the world that I've met, hosted or stayed with. I have couch surfed only a few times so far but the experiences I've had were wonderful and the friends I've made have been amazing. I have hosted a lot more than I've surfed and I have had some pretty special guests! Now I'm living with my parents and they aren't comfortable hosting just yet (though I'm working on that). I'm happy to meet up and show people around on the weekend.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My best ever couch surf was in Istanbul, I stayed with the lovely Ilksan and her parents and it was the best 2 days ever! I have reaaaally enjoyed hosting though and almost all the friends I have made in La Spezia, Italy were through couch surfing acquaintances.

Music, Movies, and Books
IT crowd, blackbooks, spaced, coupling, community, sean of the dead, jasper jones, anything by neil gaiman and music wise my tastes are very ecclectic... but I guess pop to country to soul and r&b... I LOVE karaoke and singing :D So anything you can sing or dance to is awesome.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the village in Malaysia that I visited, the most amazing thing I did was go for a walk with the kids through the village to the river. We crossed with a bamboo raft, ate rice straight from the feild, stood under a waterfall, saw goats, crossed back via a rope bridge and swam in the river... MOST amazing day ever
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to practise your english please do meet up for a drink or get in touch. I can cook alright too but what I want to learn is some dishes from different countries and some languages from other places as well as your stories of travel etc. I'm so jealous of people who have travelled more than me and I want to hear them all.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook a few different cuisines for you, give you a few free English lessons, tell you an English poem, or sing at Karaoke for you ;P
Countries I’ve Visited
