to make it to as many countries as possible by january 16, when i have to go back to the u.s. (and school!)

ABOUT ME

I´m a big nerd - I love reading and writing and don´t mind studying - but my major is Gender and Sexuality studies, which isn´t very nerdy in my opinion. That means I study basically gender roles, feminism, homosexuality, and sex in general. It´s really really fascinating. I also study Education and English Literature, since I hope to teach someday (if anyone lets me near their kids after the see my major is Gender and Sexuality studies..hmm.) I am from Maine, go to school at Swarthmore in Philadelphia, and spend my summers volunteering in Ecuador. Right now I´m studying abroad in Madrid.
I love sports - I like to watch american football, european football, baseball, and rugby. I play rugby - I´m a second row or a flanker. I´m obsessed with animals, especially dogs and other furry things. I also love kids. My favorite thing to do is probably to go to concerts and dance.

PHILOSOPHY

Vice, virtue. It's best not to be too moral. You cheat yourself out of too much life. Aim above morality; if you apply that to life, then you're bound to live life fully.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

swimming in the amazon probably. bribing my way out of an arrest in romania (that was last week!) snorkelling in the galápagos. drinking with josh homme (singer of queens of the stone age.) i have lots of stories of stupid/awesome stuff, but you have to remind me of them first!
