Love to travel and meet new people! Currently working on my PhD in linguistics at UC Berkeley. Before moving to California I worked as a high school English teacher in Paris and and prior to that as a Spanish lecturer in the United States .

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I have now surfed in Florence, Rome, Athens, northern Greece, France, Portugal, and Ireland. Now I spend most of my time studying in the library in Berkeley, CA.

Waaay too many books to list!! Especially 1984, A Handmaid's Tale, The Red Tent, Anna Karenina, most of Jane Austen, the list goes on...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Barcelona four years ago when I was an au pair, I learned so much about minority language culture (Catalan in Barcelona's case). The rallies for Catalonian independence were absolutely inspiring. Everyone should have a cause that they are that passionate about!
