ABOUT ME

I've been officially diagnosed with the travel bug since a very early age. I travel pretty much constantly. Most of the time in the USA for work, and then internationally for vacation. I love going new places, trying new things, and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

On life: The only thing in life worth pursuing is passion. If you're not passionate about it, why are you trying so hard?

On work: If you can't make tons money doing what you love, get a job that lets you do what you love for free.

Never mistake comfort for happiness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Used to host several years ago when I had a roommate that was open to it. Now I am never at home, so hosting is very difficult for me. I do enjoy surfing whenever I can though. I can usually afford to stay in a hotel or a hostel when I travel, but I much prefer to CouchSurf so I can meet people and share experiences with them. I really enjoy meeting people from all over the world and hearing their stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted years ago and enjoyed it very much. More surfing now. I´ve never had a bad experience and I am always amazed by the kindness and honesty of strangers.

Speaking as a former professional luggage handler, NEVER. EVER. EVER. put a bottle of wine in your checked luggage with your clothes. I don't care how well padded it is, it WILL get broken and ruin all your clothes and luggage. If at all possible, don't check luggage at all. The horror stories I could tell you... *shudder*
