To scout the lands which I shall conquer ;) I want to soak in new places and new faces, and see many flavors that express our humanity. Who knows, maybe I'll find the next place I want to live!

ABOUT ME

What is there to say... an open minded, life loving, athletic and educated easy going dude. I have lived in a few different countries, cultures, and languages during my lifetime. I'm educated in science, yet thrive on humanity and the depth of ancient wisdom. I look forward to meeting and sharing times with anyone whom I'm fortunate enough to stumble into along my journey, imparting gentle influences on each other towards a richer life.

PHILOSOPHY

In the present moment is everything we need to move forward into the future.

Sometimes it seems so hard to follow this philosophy, but rooted only in reality can we have clarity to proceed towards where we want to be. The key is to accept things as they are and act from there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While currently unable to host surfers do to my living situation and imminent traveling, I will pay it forward in the near future once I settle down in some exciting part of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Copenhagen, Denmark, was my first and thus far only couch-surfing experience. I had a great time and my host was very helpful and accommodating, showing me all around the town. I appreciated the culture of the couch surfing community very much from that experience and look forward to sharing it in the future.

Interests

Soccer, dancing, good music, cars, wine, and trying food from all over the world.

Exercise and good healthy food.

I like to ponder physics, philosophy, and the size of the world and my place in it. Meditation and self-awareness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best memories of my life was a week long trip I took in a desert in Oregon State (I'm from Washington State) in summer 2001, where I slept outside under a perfectly clear sky every night, staring at the incredibly bright and beautiful stars above. Waking up to the gentle rising sun, at the very crack of dawn, a cool breeze blowing before the heat of the day hits, and our guide playing a soft flute song... it was pure empowerment for the soul.

I know a lot about science and technology. I know a lot about many various types of spiritual and religious practices and philosophies. Engaging discussions sharing wisdom and knowledge, opinions and hearts are one of my most enriching experiences and pleasures to contribute to whomever I meet. I'm always excited to listen and hear from another's experience, and contribute to another whatever I may offer to attain more peace and happiness.
