ABOUT ME

At the moment I am campaigning for the Canadian National Sailing team in the laser radial (a 1-person dinghy), with the eventual goal of representing Canada at the 2020 Olympics.

I love to meet new people and expand my knowledge of the world. I studied Atmospheric Physics and Math in university, and am also really excited about environmentalism, sustainability, sailing, and radical lifestyles.

I grew up on the west coast and have a deep love for the forests and the ocean. I spend a lot of time sailing, hiking, skiing, and camping.

I am currently trying to be mindful and whole-hearted in all my thoughts and actions.

I credit couchsurfing with introducing me to some of the most interesting, exciting, and beautiful people I have ever met. I want to make more of these deep connections all over the world.

It has always been awesome! I have stayed with lots of really nice people, and have hosted lots of interesting people from all over the world.

Interessen

I really enjoy being outdoors, in the mountains, on the sea! I am currently a competitive dinghy racer, with the goal of qualifying for the 2020 Olympics.

I love to travel. I lived in Germany and have spent a lot of time training in Europe and North America for sailing. I also did a month long cycling trip through some of the Nordic countries, which I wholly recommend as my favourite mode of travel! I have plans to wander around the rest of the planet.

I studied Physics and Math at university. I love both subjects a lot, and hope one day to teach others how fascinating physics can be!

My favourite parts of buildings are the back sides, down alley ways where everything is mismatched and ramshackle.
