ABOUT ME

I am the oldest son of a large family with three younger brothers and one younger sister. We also have a few pets, including a dog (Sugar), many fish, and three kitties (Marble, Tia, and Peko).

I love traveling and experiencing new things! My personality tends to sway from being kind of shy to very outgoing, and I have the ability to adapt to different situations and environments.

Some of my favorite things to do in a new city are to check out any local music scenes, cool museums, historical sites, and especially any off-the-beaten trail restaurants or bars that only a local can show you!

I also love the outdoors, although I don't get out hiking or mountain climbing as much as I would like to.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is that I never want to have any beliefs that are permanent and unchangeable. I want to remain as open as I can to everything and everyone. If I had to state a belief that I currently follow it would be that every single person I meet has the potential to teach me something, whether directly or indirectly, and that I should try and recognize their lessons and remember them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a few experiences couchsurfing during the gap year I took between graduating high school and entering university. I've couchsurfed with wonderful people in Geneva, Switzerland and in Italy.

I have never hosted a couchsurfer, but I would love to some day!

I am interested in biology, physics, movies,music, learning new things, trying new experiences, traveling... whatever you're interested in!

Música, películas y libros

I enjoy music that ranges from heavy metal, to experimental rock, to crazy avant-garde electronic. I'm open to most kinds of music, but I don't really enjoy top 40 pop hits.
In regards to movies, I do enjoy a good comedy or horror flick, and I tend to avoid pure action movies. Some of my favorite movies include Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, No Country for Old Men, and Ace Venture: When Nature Calls.
I have to say that some of my favorite books are classical literature. The Sun Also Rises, 1984, and Catch-22 are a few books that I have read and liked. However, I am also a big Stephen King fan, and have numerous novels by him, with the Dark Tower Series being my favorite.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I climbed to the top of Algonquin Mountain in the New York State Adirondack Park with my Dad and two of my brothers. It was an amazing bonding experience with my family, and we had a great time. I also saw one of the most spectacular views of my entire life, and after the experience I realized that I have a deep appreciation for nature's beauty.
