ABOUT ME

Hey there! My name is Marybeth and I am a Senior in college. My major is Inclusive Education and Spanish. I love adventures and traveling around with friends, as well as making memories that will last a lifetime! I would describe myself as a young, outgoing, cultural and ambitious person. I love meeting new people so don't be shy =)

PHILOSOPHY

I am a very independent person who's not afraid to take risks in life. You only live life once, so why not live it to the fullest? Also, I believe that if you want something in life then you need to work for it my favorite quote is "Don't Follow Your Dreams, Lead Them"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only surfed in Madrid and London. It was great meeting new people and being able to do non touristic things all the time. I really think CouchSurfing is a fantastic way to meet new people and experience different cultures I have also hung out with people that have come to Valencia for a few days and showed them around and I have had a great time with all of them! =)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: As cliche as it sounds, I pretty much listen to everything(almost). I like R&B, Hip-Hop, Latin, Techno, Rock, Country and more. Some artists that I particularly like include Jason Chen, Lil Crazed, Mac Miller, Sam Adams, Wiz Khalifa, Don Omar, David Guetta, Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, He is We, Three Days Grace, Jason Derulo etc.

Movies: 3 Metros Sobre El Cielo, The Hangover, A walk to Remember, The Notebook, Good Luck Chuck, Billy Madison, Titanic. I pretty much like any chick flick and I also like comedy, Horror, and a few action movies. Oh, and I can't forget about good ol' Disney movies.

Books: "A Thousand Splendid Suns" and "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini as well as "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Costa Rica was absolutely amazing, I would love to go back there again if I can, I went zip-lining, horse-back riding, Kayaking, went to the hot springs, visited a school, went to different beaches etc. A great place to go if you ever get the chance!
