In LA:
If you're in LA, there's a lot of different areas to see, but my favorite place to show people is the Griffith Observatory (website here: http://www.griffithobs.org/) It's where they shot Rebel Without a Cause, and it gives you one of the best views of LA. I live in Koreatown and am not currently set up to have anyone crash, but I'd love to meet people for coffee or a drink.
