Hey,

I'm Gabor, a 35-year-old art educator from Hungary. In 2017 and 2018 I was living in Galway, Ireland and studied circus. After I have moved back home to Budapest and now I work as an actor and drama teacher, leading my own NGO with friends. We creat theatre-in-education performances for youth age 4 to 21, besides managing and teaching applied arts classes to people living with intellectual disabilities.
Since I mainly work independently, I have only a few fixed classes and performances every week. I workout regularly, but sometimes I like to be a couch potato and just watch a film or play PC games. I also like to go out for a drink or for some cultural programs.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

In 2010 when I finished my studies for a Film and Media BA, I decided to go on a pilgrimage. To see the world and in other ways to find myself in it. Get experiences.

That was the time when I met with Couchsurfing. As I said I had wanted to explore. In my mind, it was about exploring cities, places, cultures, etc. But thanks to Couchsurfing I had the opportunity to explore good people who I will always remember.

Because the country is in the people. The ruins, buildings, and others can be beautiful externally. The body. And the people are the soul.

I traveled and couch-surfed in Germany and Denmark in 2010 and in Cyprus and Greece in 2014. Since then I only did smaller trips to cities like London, Dublin, Milano, etc. I loved it all :)

Because of my studies and interests I have experiences in theatre, film and media, to think about these and to create in these fields.
In the past two years, I try to dive deep into the world of circus. I would be happy to teach you some juggling or to learn from you and practice with you. :)
