About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make one austrian friend

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Maria, my hometown is Sao Paulo, where I study architecture and urbanism. On this winter semester I am starting an exchange programm in Vienna, I'll be in Austria until feb-2012.
I started my exchange programm in feb-2011 in Graz, also Austria, but unfortunately there I found many difficulties to interact with the austrians students, they were very closed, i guess south americans need a little warm. So now I decided to go for a next challenge, Vienna, to get to know people and have some nice experiences. Would you like to help me on this next round? :)

PHILOSOPHY

To give more than take

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm very new at Couchsurfing.
I begann couchsurfing on the easter hollidays of this year. And it was a very good start!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I found out about couchsurfing in Graz-Austria, where I did my first semester of exchange programm. There I met many friends that have already done it. Since the first day I heard about it, I was already very excited about joining this community and having great experiences. And by my first experiences I can say that I will do it again.

Interests

Like every good couchsurfer, I'm interested in making new friends and connecting to different cultures! Apart from that, I'm also interested in architecture in general, reading books and sports.

Teach, Learn, Share

The first thing I always find interesting in sharing/learning/teaching are our languages. The second subject is architecture, the difference between places always amuses me. And last, but not least, learn the real way of live in the places we visit, so we don't stick to the "touristic" look of each city.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
