Overview
About Me
I love salsa dancing, volleyball, kickboxing, enjoying nature, meeting new people, traveling and reading to learn new things... I like talking about politics when it's a friendly exchange. I love going out dancing and exploring all night, but I also love staying in and reading or chatting with new friends in a cafe :)
I'm a religion journalist and am always interested in religious sites, history, what people believe and how it affects culture. I'm very open-minded.
I lived in India for 5 years and moved back to New York this summer. I worked with non-profits in the modern slavery and child sexual abuse fields and also reported news on various religion and human rights themes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and especially locals in cities I travel to. I decided to sign up after meeting the couch surfing community through mutual friends in Washington, DC, New York and India. They are some of the most fun friends I have!

Music, Movies, and Books
Book: Les Miserables
Music: I am happy listening to just about anything but lately I've been listening to semba. I love discovering new artists so I'd rather let someone else pick.
I used to play the French horn but haven't for years.
Movies: anything with a good plot and good writing. One of my favs is Good Will Hunting. Also loved The Florida Project for its innovative genre.
