About Me

I am a young, excited, nature driven adventurer on my first visit to Japan! I will be working at a summer camp in Japan and am planning to visit a few cities before my camp starts. With my travel partner & fellow Couchsurfer, Ilan Sobel , we will be traveling for 3 weeks around Kyoto, Okinawa, in the Mount Fuji area, and Tokyo before going to camp in the Niigata prefecture. We are planning to spend several days in each location so we can experience more of the cities and communities we are in. With open eyes to the local's view , I predict couch surfing will be perfect for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As much as I enjoy seeing the tourist attractions of these grand places around the world, I truly enjoy getting the local's view and finding the hidden reasons why people love their home. Recommendations and/or a new friend to explore with will be great fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really got traveling during 2016 when I adventured on Long distance hiking trails! John Muir trail in California (200 miles in 25 days, through July 2016), West Highland Way in Scotland (95 miles in 7.5 days, early August 2016), and Tour du Mont Blanc through France, Italy, and Swizerland (105 miles in 14 days, early September 2016). I look forward to getting to hike to the top of Mount. Fuji as well!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm going to be the Tie Dye master at the English immersion summer camp I'll be working at this summer. I am happy to share cooking, hiking, and my Californian culture! I'm happy to share my knowledge of the outdoors, yoga, or have a great discussion!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with my hosts my enjoyment of life and happy energy! If weather is good, we can enjoy on hikes together or if the sky is clear I can point out some constellations in the stars. If you're too busy during the day, I can share with you a nice meal and some fun discussion.
