About Me
Hi,
I just quit my San Francisco tech job, and am back at square 1. I was a project manager for a startup that was acquired by Big Tech. I got everything I wanted on paper, and it made me terribly unhappy.
I'm starting from square 1, terribly burned out, but determined to reconnect with the things I love; reading, writing, art, travel, and human connection.
I used to be a semi-professional writer, and I'm seriously considering pursuing that again. As a day job, I'm interested in managing nonprofits, or possibly tutoring writing again. I just want to go to bed at night feeling like I've done something worthwhile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing was recently brought to my attention when I was nearly stranded in a strange city. Though a friend came through for me, I think this is a wonderful idea.
I'm trying to re-engage with a more connected way of living, after a breakneck paced year.
