Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I was in staying with a French family in Caen, France in Normandie during the national music festival. Everywhere music was being played- in courtyards, castle ruins, abbeys, roads, parks. The entire community was out and socializing and drinking and celebrating. I heard every kind of music being played at the same time all over the city. Gregorian chants, hard rock, dubstep, bongo drums, acoustic, instrumental, pop.. It was the most beautiful experience of my life that I was lucky enough to share with my best friend and several friends from the town we'd made during our time there. The music started in the late afternoon and didn't end until 4am. I wish I could live it over and over again.
