ABOUT ME

Hi there!

Meagan grew up in Washington State, USA and Philippe grew up in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. We both live in and make our permanent home in Quebec City. Philippe is a professor of computer science at the local university and Meagan is a french student and holds down the fort at home. We both love to travel and hope to meet like-minded people on here for future travels. :)

We both love music of all kinds, traveling, road trips, camping, hiking, micro brews, and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meagan and Philippe have couch surfed in New Zealand and Boston and look forward to meeting more people in the future!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in New Zealand with three different hosts and one time in Boston. We have opened up our home to host in Québec, with our first surfer being from Austria. It has been an amazing experience so far!

Music, music, music. I am obsessed with music and wish I was musically inclined, but sadly, I am not...just a listener. Hiking, camping, road trips. I have too many hobbies to keep up with. Love to sew, garden, knit, cook and spend time with family, friends and my dog and cat.

Music: SO MUCH! I am a complete music addict and have to have a bunch of flavors to get me through a week. I can find good things in almost everything, though I will listen to certain things more than others. My current tops are reggae (roots/ska), vintage jazz, indie/folk rock, bluegrass, oldies, French, and loving African and Brazilian lately (still have to learn the artists). My favorite band for the last 10 years is Built to Spill, and indie rock band from Washington and Idaho.

Books: Desert Solitaire, Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the Rings, books on health and self improvement.
