About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm a small girl and it's a big world, be open.
ABOUT ME
Having just completed my Bcomm degree in December I'm taking advantage of this time of remaining freedom to see the world. I'm embarking on a trip that will take me through London, Amsterdam, Bruges, Berlin, Prague, Kraków, Budapest, Croatia, Rome, Venice, Florence, Bratislava, Vienna, Copenhagen, and Stockholm.
Having grown up in a small town with not much going on, I developed a passion for travel and learning about other cultures. I studied Japanese and went on an exchange spending 4 months living in Nagoya, Japan. Next on my wish list is Europe, South East Asia, a return to Japan, and then a move to Australia.
I am little, loud, kind, and the one who says what everyone is thinking. I get along with all types of people and am always open to trying new things.
PHILOSOPHY
I've learned that to truly be happy in life, you have to be open. Not only open to new ideas and experiences, but also open to people and to feelings. And the most difficult thing for most people to do is to be vulnerable. To do anything else is to numb yourself from feeling. I am learning to be vulnerable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At this point in my life, because I am just a fresh graduate without my own place I am unable to host. But I am travelling throughout Europe and hope to surf with some fellow couchsurfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No experience surfing or hosting yet.
Interests
I love to eat. One of the best parts of travelling is getting to try new foods, and I am not picky. Despite my love for food I also enjoy keeping active. I live in the mountains and keep busy by hiking, floating down the river, running, swimming, frisbee golf, and bike riding. I listen to music almost constantly and love to read.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of movies but some of my favourites are "Forgetting Sarah Marshal", "P.S. I love you", and Jim Henson's "The Labyrinth". I love almost all genres from country to classical to indie to hip hop, but I have a special soft spot for 80's music. At the moment, I'm really into Frank Ocean, Miguel, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Chromeo, and Capital Cities. I grew up in the Harry Potter generation, so I'm a stubbornly huge fan. And I know they're absolute garbage, but my guilty pleasure is reading romance/smut novels. And as warning, I geek-out like crazy for anything Halo or Legend of Zelda related.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved to Japan on my own and lived there for 4 months on exchange. I made new friends and created a new life there, making memories and friends that will last me a lifetime.
