Well my name is Meaghan and I live on the South Shore of Montreal.

I love to travel, I was lucky enough to go to many places with my family over the years and it has given me the opportunity to realize how much I love to travel and how much I actually need to travel, to get away and to go outside of my comfort zone!

Unfortunately I live with my parents until September thus it is hard for me to welcome people now. But from September on it would be a pleasure to host!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couchsurfing for the first time a few months ago and I thought to myself 'this is an absolutely AMAZING idea!' We were planning a trip and i thought that this was the best way to meet awesome people, see places you perhaps wouldn't have seen in town if you had not met these people and frankly... it is much cheaper than renting a hotel room!

Interests

OMG where to begin... Well i love the outdoors. I love to run, bike, roller-blade, walk as long as it is outside!

I love to drink tea, wine or beer and talk about everything and anything - especially if it has to do with cultures or history but do not be scared i won't go crazy if these are not topics that interest you!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost every sort of music, I work in a movie theater as well as my day job so i am lucky enough to see lots of movies so i have to say I sort of lost the sense of having a 'favorite type of movie' haha. As for books I love fiction, drama stories and the usual 'chick flick'. Basically I love all movies, music and books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have to say i do not know if i've done amazing things but i know for sure i have lived amazing experiences! I did a few roadtrips with friends - down the eastern US coast to South Carolina as well as from Montreal all the way to the Canadian Rockies. These were amazing experiences and made me realize even more how much i love to travel!

I can teach english french and spanish - although i am still learning spanish I can dialogue pretty well!

I would love to learn about all the cultures present in this world! I am absolutely fascinated by other cultures, languages and other people's experiences in life! I believe we can all learn from each other may be we be willing to try!
