Hello! We are two scientists living in the great city of Madison, WI! When not in the lab, we love biking, hiking, reading, baking, cooking, and sipping coffee by the lake.

Jason likes snooker/ billiards, and Megan likes kittens.

We both love Mediterranean food, but we enjoy experimenting with new cuisines, too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are excited for the chance to explore new cultures on our time away from home. In order to learn about your culture, we would like to experience not only the typical tourist attractions, but have a chance to live within that culture and have real interactions with people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Megan enjoys listening to Carla Bruni, Indila, Joyce Jonathan. Jason brings rock music into the picture.

Megan and Jason both enjoy the musicals Chicago and Les Miserables, have seen all episodes of The Office and Scrubs, and have been known to watch Rachel Maddow.

As are most people of this age, Megan is a fan of the Harry Potter book series. She also enjoys reading memoirs, and thrillers. Jason likes reading science books and fantasy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jason is a great billiards player, and Megan makes a pretty good ratatouille!

Teach, Learn, Share

Jason and Megan would both enjoy the chance to learn about French, Italian, German cuisine, and in turn could share some of our favorite recipes.
