About Me
ABOUT ME
After a few years of trying different things out, I am currently employed in an NGO that offers student mentoring to children from underprivileged backgrounds who are encoutering issues in their education.
When I am not at work, I am trying to uncover some hidden skill (still looking for it). I am learning how to play the ukulele, improv theatre, and like spending time gardening or reading.
Freedom learner, traveler, plant-eater... I am eager to discover more about the world, and like to learn about people's views and experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just have a diffuse feeling that we are here in order to improve ourselves, to learn, discover, and that something very deep is to be found in our shared sense of humanity. Couchsurfing is a way to connect with this dimension. I also believe (and csurfing confirmed it) that solidarity and trust are the basis of a healthy community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have great memories of a trip I made to Srebrenica, Bosnia, in a youth camp, and of a hitch-hiking journey from Krakow to Istanbul and back.
I have also loved living in Nairobi for a few months... I loved the feeling of freedom I had there at times, which was maybe stemming from more informality.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't know if I have any particular skills that I could share. But we could probably both learn a lot by sharing our views on many subjects.
I can show you that is possible to make a tasty cake without using animal product though. I can also show you how to whistle using a blade of grass, but I am not sure how useful this skill is...
I would love to learn about your culture, and if you know how to dance, maybe you could show me a few steps. I also like to learn how to make local food (in vegan version).
