Hi, I am a theatre director and performer based in Vienna and I am very passionate about it :) I don’t come from an art background (even though I always dreamed of doing it one day). After graduating, I first lived with the Masai in Tanzania for a year which was a truly life-changing experience. Back in Munich, I worked in a hotel for four years, then studied German Literature, Art History, Drama Studies and Philosophy and also started my first internship in a theatre. As a result, I became an assistant director first and finally got my first production as director and it went from there… :) I am extremely thankful that I am able to earn my money with art and talk freely about all topics, knowing that so many artists around the world can’t.
I always want to visit the countries / places of the novels/poems/plays that I direct. (E.g. I went to Greece to get to know all the places of „Ikarus“, I went to Disneyland to do research for a play about the Walt Disney Company,…) Since my next play is the children’s book Pettson and Findus, I will visit Sweden for a month.
I am very interested in getting to know people from all over the world - it’s always so beautiful and wonderful to exchange culture, thoughts, stories and get to know a country through the eyes of locals. I am very open minded and interested in everything. Besides that, I love love hiking and exchanging thoughts in nature, reading, sport (especially ball games), cooking and baking, exploring lost places with a special history or just hanging out.

I am rather a cafe and bar person than a club person ;) and like places where it’s not too loud so that I can have nice conversations :) I am a social person, I like talking to people and interact with everybody and I'm truly interested in their lives. Yet, I deeply value time spent on my own.

If you visit me, fresh fruits and vegetables await you :) (Every Friday, I get a box full of seasonal and regional fruits and vegetables from a local farm and then try out recipes with it. :) Since I have this box, I eat so much more healthy and have so much more variety in my meals and also no waste!!! I can highly recommend it. :) Besides that, I can give you great tips about Vienna which I love so much, I know every theatre, art exhibition and flee market :)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I find the concept of people opening their homes to strangers and sharing lifetime for a moment so wonderful. Through Couchsurfing (which I have done many times, just not through this website but by hosting people that I met while travelling) I've had incredible conversations with people I may not have talked to otherwise and it always broadens my horizon. It gives me the possibility to understand the world better and to get a much more nuanced perspective on everything! Also it’s so much fun!
