About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Can I move while standing still?

ABOUT ME

I'm a 29 year old spaniard rejecting any kind of considered "normal" life. 5 years ago I left Barcelona and started living abroad, first in Madrid, for a couple of years, then Holland for a year and then I decided to travel for a year.

I was in New York, Los Angeles, Cook Islands, 4 months in New Zealand, 4 months in Australia and a month in Indonesia. I met the most amazing people couchsurfing in those countries.

Sometimes I wonder what a regular life would be. But I can't help it, I love to travel, to meet new people, to know new cultures, languages, places, cities, museums, artists, musicians! Life is too short to stay in a single place with a grey job.

I am looking forward to meet new couchsurfers around the world and in my own hometown. A couch would be nice, but a new friend even better.

Uhm... I could be talking for hours but... hey, why don't we do it in front of a beer?

If you want to check what I did last year, there you go:

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone can teach you something.

And I want to learn everything. Probably I won't. But hey, at least I want to try. There are so many languages to learn, books to read, albums to play and places to visit....!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far all the Couchsurfing experience has been amazing. Everyone I met has been special somehow. I've surfed with all sorts of people, some of them will be friends forever, some others will just be a memory of my trip, but I don't regret anyone I've met. And that's just awesome.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music and books are the best way to describe myself.

I've studied linguistics and literature. So all classic books are in my shelf. I really enjoy greek and latin literature, but also Kafka, Nabokov, Borges, Bolaño, Proust. I'm not really fond on contemporary literature, but lately I'm trying.

Musically I enjoy 60's garage music the most, but also current indie music. The Beatles, The Sonics, The Zombies, Ok Go, The Hives, Beck, The Smiths, Blur, Eli "paperboy" Reed, Joy Division, Love, Neu!, The Monks, Spoon, Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens, Pulp, Elliott Smith, Wilco, The Magnetic Fields, Fujiya & Miyagi, The Pixies, Can, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Dandy Warhols, Detroit Cobras, The Strange Boys... Just to say some artists. I'll guess you'll know what I mean.
