About Me

CURRENT MISSION
I'm building up TR's first libertarian public policy research organization right now

ABOUT ME
I like to visit villages and countryside wherever I go. This is where the real fun is. I traveled a large part of US, Morocco, UAE, met locals and learned a ton. Me and my wife like to travel and meet ppl whenever there's a possibility and share the bread&bed with others.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a libertarian and living my life on the principle of "live and let live"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hate small talk. Over the years, I've come to appreciate the value of a great chatter! Even the 30 min.s of an in-depth, meaningful, insightful conversation is something so rare to come-by. And it's generally hard to find them in your immediate environment. That's why I'm on CS. I'm collecting conversations! I've met some great many ppl through CS and still in touch with most of them.

I'm a big fan of Tarantino. Latest "Hateful Eight" is a state of the art movie that I rewatch and enjoy every once in a while.

I'm currently into the covers of popular Jazz and R&B songs, i.e

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once visited a remote village house in the northern mountains of Morocco and was hosted by a guy who's living afar. It was completely an unplanned experience with people I didn't know in the middle of the wilderness. The place was so remote that the nearest living creature was half hour drive. The physical standards were quite low and the guy turned out later to be a hash dealer. I was completely freaking out at first as he was generally high. He was living in a one bedroom(no windows, no inside WC, no modern equipment so one bedroom in the real sense of the word) with his wife and baby, yet was so generous to host me at his home, share his food&bed. He barely spoke english and his wife spoke non, yet we spent few hours together in his roof, in the face of wilderness, talking about life&stuff. Still, remember every second of that night! It was a pause from the crazy pace of life. The whole thing taught me a thing or two about life when I went back.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a big fan of deep conversation. I travel around the world meeting new people and keep making new friends. Also, I'm a human rights activist and a member of Turkish civil society for more than 10 yrs now, which taught me a lot. I'm currently researching into the relationship between state&technology and
