HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love helping people find out what makes where I live really fun, especially if they have a sense of curiosity & adventure. We're currently housesitting in a historical home and have a guest bedroom with a queen bed. Short stays (a few days) only please, we like guests but we like our privacy, too. Alternative lifestyles welcome.

music: like alternative rock, folk, not up on the latest as I mostly listen to NPR these days

I haven't watched tv for the last 9 years, though I do watch Lost downloaded on the computer & loved Six Feet Under on DVD and ma currently watching Mad Men, which I swear is straight out the pages of my college advertising textbooks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My 40th birthday I traveled alone in New Zealand & Australia, and did a bunch of action-adventure stuff, one of the highlights was tandem hang-gliding.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy cooking & teaching it, and have a lot of passion around my newfound profession of mediation. Also written for years and am not not as much taking it for granted as just something I do. I spent quite a few years working in corporate marketing, enough to still enjoy problem solving how to most effectively reach your customers.
