About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Always learn something different and help others.

ABOUT ME

Someone who loves to learn and talk to people. I really like to exchange experiences and learn cultures.
I´m not into any kind of drugs. Alcohol? Less than one glass maybe once in a month, if so...
I am very religious, but open minded. I love to learn about other religions and I don't talk about mine ( unless someone really wants to know about it ).
No, I´m not here to preach to anyone neither want to be preached. But still, I do like to study religions as part of cultures.
I have a son who sometimes (not always) is my company for traveling and also enjoys learning languages and cultures.
Lately I've been studying about design thinking as a way to change the world, and I'm really considering to do a master about it.
I love arts and love to see and talk about music, dance, cinema, photography..
I also like the "alternative" way of living as some can call such as yoga, meditation, ayurveda, although I did not study it as much as I would like.
In Brazil I used to participate of cycling groups such as Night Bikers and blind bikers (where we went cycling with blind colleagues).
Now, I´m reconstructing a new life far from Brazil. Who knows what I´ll be doing those days...

PHILOSOPHY

If you do everything that others have done, you'll go no further than others have gone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I made my profile a while ago but was not very active since I was studying to get into master. Now that I´m in it, I´m living in a place where I can´t host, but still, I can hang out or even give informations about Brasilia or any other city I´ve been to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I was in a study cave, my hosting experience is not that big. But I think we have time to get there.

Interests

Traveling (for sure), music, cultures, languages. I've taken many classes for hobby, since singing to percussion and dancing, but can't say I'm good in any of those. :) One thing that changes my mood is listening to music (with good percussion involved) and getting to dance!!
Lately I've been reading about design thinking and innovatives ways to improve somethings, healthcare for an example. So, if you want to talk about it, would be great.

Music, Movies, and Books

For movies, just not the "killing" ones, I'm not into violence. :) I really like non hollywood ones.
Music, I mainly listen to Brazilian music, like MPB and samba, but I pretty much like anything. Just not exactly into hard rock and country.
Books, management and design is all I have been reading lately (and I do like it), but sometimes a novel is also very good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh well, the first time I got a heart in my hands was really amazing, but I think this is not the point here. ;) Hang gliding over Rio de Janeiro probably was one of the most amazing things I've done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about almost anything. :) teach.. I don't know.. Maybe some forró dance (that I also have to learn a lot).

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
