ABOUT ME
I am a real nerd. oddly enough, regardless of my nerd-status, i am skilled at talking to anyone, about anything. I think the most important thing in the whole world is how well you can hold a conversation over a bottle of red wine.
PHILOSOPHY
Run yourself ragged. Bring back the buffalo. Laugh youself silly. Wander. But keep your compats closer. We are all a part of this. ---Jokerman 8
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i just got done traveling a bunch, so i probably wont surf your couch for a while, but my friend al really likes this site so im just checkin it out. and, well, i dont know why youd ever couchsurf in houston, but if you are unlucky enough to be in this situation, my couch is a good option for you.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
totally new! My roommates and I have often hosted couchsurfers in the past, however, though not under my name on CS. so you can consider me new, i guess.
Interests
traveling long distances for short periods of time, energy politics, environmental history, long dinners with good company. second to that comes modern dance, beach volleyball, african dance, beach kickball, mahmoud darwish poems, reading the Economist cover to cover immediately when it arrives in my mailbox, discovering Dylan songs I haven't heard yet, watching crude prices move, farmers markets and eating all the food i found at them fresh and immediately upon returning home.
