Currently a Fulbright scholar at Visva-Bharati University in Santiniketan, India. Although I grew up in the States, I've spent a fair amount of time living abroad--spent a summer in Germany, another in France, and an entire year as a visiting student at Oxford. I love traveling, going to museums, and especially meeting cool new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While living in Cologne a few summers ago, I found my entire experience really shaped by the CS community. I went to the weekly meetups and ended up with a whole new batch of friends and acquaintances who I spent time with, going to concerts, hiking on the weekends, and exploring the city. The summer of 2014, I also made quite a few friends using CS while working in Paris. It's a great community--one that is global and inviting.
