I love to laugh! I enjoy hanging out with funny, positive and interesting people. My philosophy is "to each his own"...as long as nobody or nothing get's hurt by one's words or actions!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to stay with others too, but have only hosted.
It's wonderful to share stories and learn more about my guests' travel experiences, and have had very interesting and enjoyable times with the people I've hosted. Also cooking together, or eating out, and showing them some of the area when they stay more than one night...

Interests

I enjoy working on projects, traveling to new places and meeting new friends. I find joy in the outdoors and nature, as well as theater, movies, Broadway shows and music. If there is a choice of water or land...I'll take to the water every time. I love to paint (just about anything) and am often studying things in great detail before painting them. Photography also interests me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music! Gosh! I love great music! If it has a good beat and interesting notes I'm going to enjoy it. As for books, my all time favorite author to date is Diana Gabaldon and the Outlander series....showing on STARZ. I'm not into gory movies, but will watch just about anything else.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's difficult to name just one thing....Watching the changes in colors of a brilliant sunset or seeing dolphins swimming around me and being able to touch them as they swam by..... I swam with the sting rays and fed them at Stingray City in the Grand Cayman Islands. I guess I just love the water!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a sponge that wants to continuously learn and share what I've learned. I have found that all people are interesting when you scratch the surface. We can all learn something valuable from each other. The more people we meet, the more enriched we are.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy sharing stories, a comfortable home, day trips to museums and points of interest in the Tulsa area if weather permits, and trying out new foods. If you are a dog-lover, you are in the right place! there is a paddle boat in the pond and a pool in the backyard that are both used in the summer months.
