For the first time in my life I have a multi-room house all for myself.
This gives me all the space I need to truly feel and discover my true Self. It's perfect...

I have dreams and ambitions, and I'm working hard on achieving them.

Like any person though, I have my ups and downs in life. I struggle. Lots.
And when I'm in a true "down", as in depression, (or a "man flu" ;p) I generally close off the couch for the time being, as the last thing I want to do is to drag another loving awesome human being into that negativity.

IF the couch is available though, that usually means that things are going relatively well!

In deep conversation, my natural inclination is to offer "radical honesty".
That doesn't mean I'm some kind of insensitive asshole - I am very aware of the importance of "how"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like my Japanese friend would often say:
"Why not?"

Because, I'm the kind of traveller that enjoys going off the beaten path.
Looking for connection with the local people, nature's beauty, and to see things I otherwise wouldn't see if I were to join a standard tour.

So a hostel manager once told me: "I don't need to travel the world, the world travels to me."
And I often wonder what he ment with that.
How would it feel, to open up a couch or two, or to run a hostel?
So that's on my bucketlist too.
