Hello,

I am a 22 year old law student from the Netherlands with an adventurous but friendly and polite nature. From September 2017 I studied at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. I came to Japan to learn about the culture, make new friends, learn a new language but also to travel. The last three weeks of my exchange I will travel in Southeast-Asia. Among my hobbies are skiing, hockey, being outdoor in general (kanooing, hiking and cycling) and going out with friends. I am the second to oldest in a family of four boys. One of my younger brothers has the Down Syndrom, which has made me very well aware of the special needs of disabled people.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am really looking forward to meeting locals who can share their experiences with me. Alongside enjoying the cultures which are new to me, I would be glad to share my culture and stories with those who would like to hear it. I am energetic and positive and I don't desire luxury or much space.

Algo increíble que he hecho

After exchange to Japan, I worked for a month in a ski lodge in a ski resort in Japan via workaway. I worked in exchange for accomodation in the lodge, where I lived together with a crew of many nationalities. I especially enjoyed working together with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I believe that I am a pleasant companion who is always in for a chat or a drink. I have a lot of stories to tell from my time in Japan and in Europe.
