Hi I am Mees, a mechanical engineering student from the Netherlands and new on couchsurfing. When I am travelling I want to discover the language, food and customs of a place and for some reason I am often active in the sense of mountainbiking, hiking, swimming, kayaking, climbing, soccer, beachvolleyball, you name it.

At home I am also reading books, learning languages, cooking crazy stuff, doing sports but also just wasting my time on youtube.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I think the best thing of travelling is to meet locals and to talk about life at where we come from. I really like to try and learn to make new dishes, to experience cool customs and to laugh about how funny and cool our cultures are.
