About Me

I am a transplant to Seattle, by way of Richmond Virginia. I made my way out west after a failed attempt at living in New York and trying to make it in the Marketing and Media industry. I never had an intentions of living in Seattle, but the opportunity just kind of fell into my lap at the right time and so far it has been a great adventure. Currently, I am a Mens Department Manager for H&M, but when I'm not at work I am exploring all the beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel on a whim. Most of my adventures are rarely planned in advance, as a result I am not always familiar with the area I'm visiting. I think couchsurfing is a great way to make friends in new areas while gaining a locals inside perspective of the must see's and what not. Also, I believe in paying it forward and would like to provide others with the same experience when they are in my city.

Interests

I enjoy making memories through new experiences, be it good, or bad there is always something to learn from each experiences. I like farmers markets, cooking, hiking, biking, day trips, good beer, adventures with my dog, strong coffee, hanging out in book shops, record hunting and making soap

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year I watched the full moon super moon rise over the mountains in the middle of Joshua Tree while the sun was simultaneously setting in the west below another mountain. The moon was so bright, it lit up the entire area. You could hike without a head lamp on.
