ABOUT ME

I am a passionate dreamer, traveler, musician, and performer. I love to go new places and meet people. I ive in Victoria, BC where I teach ESL at the University and involve myself in theatre-related projects. I play the drum kit, djembe, and sing. I really love living life and doing things for the first time.
I co-founded a puppet company in BC we are called junk time puppets.

PHILOSOPHY

I am an open person. I believe in something greater than myslelf, but that this greatness is mostly incomprehensible to me in this life. I want to make this life as beautiful as I can while I am here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently live in a community house, in a situation where I am not available for hosting. However, I have hosted many a couchsurfer in my past. I love to meet travelers and I will open up my couch as soon as it's available. In the meantime call me to hang out in Victoria for a drink or a fun spontaneous addventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love hosting people and hearing their travel stories. I have lived in very communal situations for the past five years, so I am a very easygoing house guest. I love cooking together and sharing stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Canada from Wisconsin when I was 18, because I disagreed with the US president of the time.

I have seen many beautiful places in BC. I've hitchhiked through some of the Gulf Islands, stayed in the kootnies for a while, volunteered at a few festivals (Komasket is one of my faves). Also I lived up north near Hazelton for 6 months.

I've collectively collaberated some short plays performed in Victoria. I have been in a lot of theatre, Columbia in Rocky Horror was my favourite role!

I have had many great life experiences!!! Once I saw the Allman Brothers play underneath a setting sun and a Rainbow, that was really beautiful... haha ,many cool things happen it is easy to lose track

I am learning everyday. I do not think I have anything exceptional figured out yet. I try to tell myself everything happens for a reason.
