Hey there! I'm Meet, a naturalized Canadian citizen living in Winnipeg, Manitoba—a place where winter feels like it lasts forever, and I absolutely love it! I work full-time as an engineer and part-time as a college instructor teaching automation. When I’m not working, you’ll find me traveling—whether it's across Canada or exploring new countries. I believe every trip is an opportunity to meet new people, experience different cultures, and try local food.

Since I live in a very cold city in Canada, I fully embrace winter sports! I’m an avid skier, snowmobiler, and ice skater, and I also love playing and watching ice hockey. If you’re into winter adventures, we’ll definitely get along!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste spans two completely different worlds: black metal and death metal, as well as alternative and indie rock. Some of my favorite bands from the heavier side include Batushka, Slipknot, Swallow the Sun, and Stormruler, while on the alt/indie side, I’m a big fan of Cage the Elephant, Arctic Monkeys, and The Black Keys.

I love movies, especially anything by Christopher Nolan, Bong Joon-ho, and Martin Scorsese. I enjoy both Academy Award-winning films and indie movies—many of which don’t get the attention they deserve but are absolutely worth watching. While I do enjoy some well-made commercial films, I always appreciate a thought-provoking or unique story.

I have a deep love for classic philosophical and poetry books—as cliché as it may sound, there’s nothing better than old-school, hopeless romantic poetry. If you understand **Urdu** and have read **Jaun Elia, Faiz Ahmad Faiz, or Zia Mohyeddin**, you’ll know exactly what I mean. Their words carry a depth that resonates across time, and I could get lost in their poetry for hours.
