About Me

An adjective to describe me: Curious. Perspective can always be broadened by others' perspectives, open-mindedness, and curiosity. I'm eager to learn from others, their stories, ideologies, interests, and passions.
In addition to meeting new people, I love nature and outdoor exploration. I'm a wwoofer (World-wide Organization of Organic Farming), and have traveled along the East Coast so far, working on waterlily farms in exchange for accommodation and meeting new hosts. I plan to continue wwoofing throughout the country and eventually throughout the world! I come from a small farm in Maine on which I developed a love for gardening and working with dairy goats, along with passions for hiking, camping, and exploring the natural world.
I enjoy discussing philosophy. I've been a member of a secular humanist organization for the past year in which we engage in philosophical conversations ranging in a variety of topics. The power of thought, and shared thought, is exciting! Recently, I've been practicing mindful behavior and meditation. I'm always looking for new friends to join me in enriching discussion, practicing mindfulness, or in meditation.

End goal: Living on a self-sustaining farm with good company, music & atmosphere.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ultimately, I desire to consistently enrich my human experience and the human experiences of those around me. Life is rich, and we should seek to enjoy all of its gems. I hope my curiosity can elevate my mentalities by meeting new people and by traveling to new places!
