My husband and I traveled full time February 2018-December 2019, starting the adventure in our car from Seattle, Washington, USA, with our dog. We visited Mexico, Guatemala... and after our furry lady passed in August 2018 at the wise old age of 16, we returned to the USA to ditch the car. Since January 2019 our travels with backpacks have taken us to Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Taiwan, Shanghai, Borneo, Georgia (the country!), Ukraine, Poland, Germany, France, Morocco, Ireland, Scotland etc. .... For now, we are settled in beautiful Hoi An, Vietnam. We are a well traveled couple, into good food, good coffee, and good people, and as former AirBnB superhosts, we love meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on a budget since we no longer have day jobs, and this is a great way to save money as well as meet new people. Once we are settled in our final location we will open up our house to people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I attempted paragliding off of table mountain in Cape Town, South Africa. Had about 60 seconds of air time before my guide crashed us and I went tumbling! Lucky I only had scratches and bruises. That was the end of my extreme sports adventures.
