About Me
New to couchsurfing!
I love to hike, sightsee, try new foods, dance, party, have an overall great time. Although I'm on a budget, I really want to try and explore as much as I can. I'll mostly be solo traveling!
***Will be in Hawaii from July 9th-July 15th. Still trying to figure out what island to visit and what hiking trails to do. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated :D ***
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel because I am a volunteer with Red Cross Disaster Health Services. After I work with Red Cross, I like to explore around the area. I am on a budget, but I live in San Diego which is a popular travel site so I am happy to open my couch to travelers and pay it forward!
Though I have been to some countries, the last time I've left the US was 2010 and I only left for 10 days. In addition, I was 9 when I visited Japan and China (meeting extended family) so I never really got to explore very much.
I want to really soak in the culture of new places, make friends and amazing connections, rather than just stop by!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Anything that sounds nice. I believe that there's good music and bad music within all genres. Except Country, I just can't get on board with Country.
Movies: Don't watch many movies, I love TV shows. GoT, Westworld, Black Mirror are my current top 3
Books: Gotta say Harry Potter, it's my childhood favorite

Teach, Learn, Share
I love to hike, explore, bar hop, pretty open to any cool experiences
I'm a CPR instructor and I can offer discounted CPR classes through American Heart Association if you randomly need one!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A couch, tips about what beaches and tourist site to visit. San Diego is also known for its IPAs and breweries so there's a lot of spots to try out awesome beer.
