I grew up in the beautiful mountainous areas of southern New Mexico and later moved to Santa Fe. I work in the film industry doing various jobs that span over all departments; however, my focus is camera operating, camera assist, and media management.

I love to travel and explore new wonders of the world. When I travel, I try to stay away from the super "touristic" attractions. Those things don't appeal to me, I want to experience the authentic places real people go to, and be able to see the true colors of a city/town.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love getting to know new people and sharing life stories. I want to travel more in the near future and I believe traveling shouldn't be completely focused on the "cool" places you're going, but the experiences you take away from the interesting people you encounter. I feel that as a society we have lost a lot of trust in people and we're lacking when it comes to hospitality. I see Couchsurfing as an opportunity for a community to bring back a small part of that trust and hospitality like it used to be.

Interests

Most of my interests revolve around cameras or film industry related things. I truly love the career field I'm in and I try to surround myself with it. I consider myself a camera enthusiast, so if you get me started talking about that... be prepared, because it's my passion.
I do have a small life outside of the film industry. I love outdoor actives like hiking, camping, swimming, long boarding, and skating. I like shopping at farmers markets and supporting local businesses.

Music, Movies, and Books

-60's and 70's is my jam but I also listen to very modern indie and pop music (Imagine Dragons, Fitz & The Tantrums, Beat Club, MGMT, Capital Cities) . I currently only have half of my beloved vinyl collection with me.
